Let it be known that I am not a food blogger. Publishing recipes to my blog is an experiment in organization. For the longest time, I have had it on my to-do list to organize some kind of personal cookbook, some kind of handy reference to my favorite, repeatable recipes.
That just hasn’t been happening.
Thus, in the spirit of digitalizing my life, i.e. in the spirit of reducing physical clutter, paper clutter, etc., I am going to try to organize my recipes on my blog, which is, after all, a lifestyle blog — and my lifestyle includes eating.
Welcome to the experiment. Welcome to my kitchen.
Baked Salmon Filet
Preheat oven to 375°.
Put the following ingredients in a bowl or container that will hold the filet for marinade:
+ olive oil
+ rosemary, fresh or dried
+ garlic, powder or minced
+ any thing else that seems fancy
Mix that shit together, then give your salmon filet a bath in it.
Let the salmon marinade for 10 minutes, while the oven preheats.
Next, place salmon on a baking tray or pan in the oven for 17 mins.
Remove from the oven, let cool a few mins, then squirt some fresh lemon juice on it if you like.
